With no outlets for water, Ash Street might as well be a swimming pool when it rains. City officials say that’s about to change. Thanks to a project totaling nearly one million dollars, Ash Street is getting improved drainage. Director of Public Works Michael Haeffele says the project will drastically improve the area once it is complete.
The city commission also approved an ordinance that will simplify its water regulations.
