Franklin County will be searching for a new county attorney soon. Stephen Hunting has resigned as County Attorney. He will be taking a position as an assistant U.S. attorney as a federal prosecutor. Hunting says being a federal prosecutor has been a dream of his since he was in law school, and when the opportunity arose he could not say no.
He adds that he believes Ottawa and Franklin County are heading in a positive direction in law enforcement, and he will miss all those who he has served the past 7 years.
