As Franklin County Attorney Steven Hunting begins his last couple weeks on the job in Franklin County, the issue of finding a replacement looms. The process is a bit complicated, particularly in an election year. Hunting explains.
He adds that he went through the process in 2012, being appointed after then-County Attorney Heather Jones resigned. Hunting has taken what he calls a dream position as an assistant U.S. attorney as a prosecutor, something he says he has always wanted.
