The Franklin County planning commission is looking for new members. Planning a building Director Larry Walrod told commissioners that there is a need for two members. The first members term is expiring and the second is Don Stottlemire’s position. He was elected to the county commission and can not serve on both. Walrode says he would like to see a wider area of representation on the board.
The commissioners agreed to advertise for the positions, as well as positions on the county board of appeals in hopes of getting a good number of applications.
