The Miami County Extension office is “Mad About AG”. That’s the theme for their annual AG Day this year for Miami County schools to the Paola Fairgrounds for demonstrations on a variety of AG related issues. Miami County Extension agent Katelyn Barthol says, “A surprising number of kids don’t know where there food comes from and one of her favorite demonstrations is from the southwest dairy trailer that shows kids how to milk a cow.
The Mad for AG Day will be held on Tuesday from 9 am to 2 pm at the Miami County Fairgrounds in Paola and feature demonstration on farm safety, 4-H livestock projects, and much more.
