OTTAWA–Spring is almost here, and that means a lot of people will be pulling their grills out of storage. Each year, there are numerous house fires caused by an out-of-control fire. Lieutenant Jared Shinkle of the Ottawa Fire Department says before firing up your grill, look around you. He says many people like to grill inside their garage…and that’s a recipe for disaster.
