It will have a header that reads “Presidential Alert” and the message, “This is a test of the national wireless emergency alert system. No action is necessary.”
A couple minutes later at 1:20, there will be a test of the national emergency alert system on radio and television. The emergency alert system us a national public warning system that provides the President with the communication capability to address the nation during a national emergency. Please remember, this is only a test. No action is necessary.
