The Kanas Corporation Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday to receive input from Kansas gas service customers on the company’s rate increase request. The public hearing will begin at 6 at the Washburn Institute of Technology in Topeka
The application, filed by Kansas Gas Service, requests a $42.7 million dollar net base rate increase. If approved, the average residential customer’s natural gas bill will increase by $5.67 per month,
