You might have thought it was high school graduation time at the regular Franklin County Commission meeting yesterday. Employees who have served for years, ranging from 5 to 40 years, were recognized. Human Resource Director Gayla Wilkins did the honors. Monica Finch is with the dispatch center and she has worked for the county for 20 years, she was delighted to be recognized.
Among the longest serving employees was Brad Giles, who has been with the sheriff’s department for 40 years.
