Ottawa Police are looking for a missing 4-year-old boy, reportedly taken by his mother. 4-year-old Jax Tinsley was reported missing by his father after getting a call from Sunflower Elementary on October 9th, asking when Jax would be returning to school because he’d been absent since October 3rd. The school attempted to contact Trina several times before the 9th. Police conducted a welfare check at the address listed and found that 40-year-old Trina Tinsley had moved out on September 27th with no forwarding address.
The police are seeking the public’s help in finding Jax. He is 4 years old, 3 foot 2 inches tall and about 50 pounds. He has blond hair, brown eyes, and wears glasses. His mother Trina is wanted for aggravated interference with parental custody. A warrant for Trina Tinsley’s arrest was issued by the Franklin County District Court with a $500,000 bond. The warrant and a vehicle that Trina Tinsley is known to drive are also entered into the FBI Database. Anyone with any information on Jax is urged to call the Ottawa Police Department.
