This morning at 2:40, fire crews were dispatched to a fire at 551 East Central in Richmond. Richmond, Williamsburg, Pottawatomie, and Anderson County firefighters were on the scene of the structure fire. A ladder truck from Garnett was called in to help fight the blaze. The fire Marshall was at the scene. The fire closed 59 Highway for a time, please be cautious as you travel through the area as their fire equipment and other emergency vehicles are still at the scene, just off Highway 59 in Richmond.
