The City of Ottawa has won what is called the Class Two Collection System of the Year Award. The honor is in recognition of Ottawa’s sanitary sewer collection system and the expert maintenance that it receives. Assistant Utilities Director David Buehler says a lot of hard work is involved.
The award was made by the joint conference of the Kansas Chapter of the American Water Works Association and the Kansas Water Environment Association.
