A man in Wellsville who saw his truck heavily damaged when a tornado siren fell on it is having bad luck getting it repaired at someone else’s expense. Micheal Smith says the city’s insurance should pay for the damage since the siren was owned by the city. Wellsville Mayor Bill Lytle says it’s drawing the attention of outside media.
Lytle says the city council could choose to compensate Smith directly, but no action has been taken.
