The Ottawa Police Department and Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, with the assistance of the Star team and Deu unit, executed a search warrant on a residence in the 900 block of west 6th Street in Ottawa Saturday. During the search, which was part of an ongoing investigation, they detained four people and confiscated various items as evidence in the case.
Sheriff Jeff Richards says the Ottawa Police Department and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department are continuing to maintain a safe and secure community, and this investigation is just one example of this commitment. He adds that all citizens are encouraged to report any and all suspicious activity and concerns to local law enforcement.
