The installation of new water lines in Downtown Ottawa is also turning into a historic expedition of sorts. Ottawa Utilities Director Dennis Tharp says a lot of old infrastructures is being uncovered.
Tharp says some old railroad ties have also turned up, probably dating from the 1950’s or older. Tharp says overall the waterline project is running slightly ahead of schedule.
