An accidental shooting in Williamsburg has sent a Noth Carolina man to the hospital. According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, a 28-year-old Morganton, North Carolina man accidentally shot himself in the leg while brushing his teeth Saturday morning. The event took place at 1375 Rock Creek Road near Williamsburg. The handgun was a small caliber pocket Derringer style handgun that was in his pocket. He was transported to Overland Park Regional for a non-life-threatening gunshot injury.
