The Franklin County United Way kicked off its annual fundraising campaign. Recently the held a mystery dinner and raised nearly 18,000 dollars and total contributions so far have totaled about 26 thousand dollars. However, United Way Director Meg Hooper Peirson says they have a ways to go.
United Way reached over 11,000 people in Franklin County last year.
