While the Ottawa Library is not exactly drowning in money, they may soon have a little more cash than expected. The Ottawa City Commission is expected to hold a budget hearing at its December 5th meeting to consider a budget amendment transferring some extra money. Ottawa Mayor Mike Skidmore and other officials had a brief discussion.
If adopted, the Ottawa Library’s budget would go from about 869 thousand dollars to almost 919 thousand dollars.
