An Ottawa Man who had applied for an opening on the Franklin County planning commission apparently was not considered for the vacancy, and tempers are flaring as a result. During the regular county commission meeting, Joe Ferguson said he has a good idea of why he was not chosen.
County Administrator Derek Brown Strongly denied that any improper activities were going on. Brown says he simply recommended candidates to the county commission that he thought had the best qualifications. Brown says he was acting at the request of County Commissioner Chairman Randall Renoud.
