The West Franklin school bond project is starting to take form, the school board met in special session to go over drawings by the architect. A slight hitch may have developed, Gale Lantis of Mar Lan Construction, the company charged with doing the construction, told the school board some cuts will have to be made.
Lantis says being only around 3 percent or so over budget is actually pretty good when you consider that many projects run up to 10 percent over budget.
