PRINCETON — Buddy Welch, 50, and 19-year-old Jordan Welch, 19, both of Princeton, were taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital and treated and released following a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 59 just outside of Princeton Saturday afternoon. Welch’s wife says Buddy Welch was driving a pickup on U.S. 59 and was waiting on the highway for a Beloit woman to turn into the Short Stop convenience store at princeton when his pickup was rear-ended. A passenger in Welch’s pickup wasn’t injured nor were the other drivers.
