An accident I-35, at the 183 mile marker has left one man dead and the other with severe injuries. The highway was shut down for several hours on Saturday January 5th. Twenty-third and Princeton out to the highway was completely closed with no entry. The crash happened just before 5:15 Saturday morning when two semi trucks hit each other head on sending debris everywhere. One man died, and the other had to be extricated and transported to Ransom Memorial Hospital. KDOT has shut down the highway and were having people use a detour to get on and off. It’s unclear if they were wearing their seatbelt.
