Incoming house speaker pro tem and Ottawa native Blaine Finch has tabbed former Ottawa City Commissioner Emily Graves as his chief of staff. Finch says when the position came open, he focused on people with certain skills and graves fit the bill.
Finch adds that Graves background in health care will be a definite plus in the position. The house session starts back a week from today Monday January the 7th, the same day newly elected Governer Laura Kelly is inaugurated.
