Would you like to be a part of Ottawa’s New Legacy Square forever? You can. The new outdoor space at the corners of first and Walnut street is due to begin construction soon. The legacy brick program is underway and onward Ottawa’s John Coen says everyone has an opportunity to be a part of it.
You can purchase 4 by 8 bricks for 100 dollars or an 8 by 8 brick for 180 dollars. The funds raised from the bricks will help with fundraising efforts and honor the legacy of those honored. Total cost of the park is estimated at over 4 million dollars, most of which has been donated.
