A group of Ottawa High School students received a huge honor recently at world of wheels in Kansas City. They were competing the pedal car challenge. The Ottawa students finished second in the competition. OHS Principal Kelly Whittaker says they brought the competition to a whole new level.
Because they were so good, the Ottawa group was also invited to participate in the “real” car competition next year, an honor that is almost exclusively reserved to bigger colleges and technical schools.
