A second man charged in an alleged shooting in Wellsville last year has been sentenced in Franklin County court. 30-year old Richard Whetstone of Wellsville was sentenced to 12 months of probation on three counts; criminal threat and two counts of attempted battery. Whetstone and Taylor Morse were originally charged with aggravated battery, assault with a deadly weapon and threat causing terror. Morse was to 30 days in jail earlier this year.
