The Franklin County Historical Society is hosting a program for those interested in researching the history of houses, buildings, and land. “Researching your home and the people who lived there” will teach you how to find out more about your home and the land it is on. The program will cover resources available online as well, as how to conduct research at courthouses, libraries, and historical societies. The program will be presented by Franklin County Historical Society Executive Director Diana Staresinic-Deane. She says the process can be addicting.
It will be held this afternoon, March the 9th at 2, at Neosho County Community College. The program is free and open to the public.
