Franklin County Emergency Management has officially flipped the switch on a new 911 center. The new system is complete with a mapping system to help dispatchers and first responders find a patient easier. Franklin County Emergency Communications Director Nick Robbins explains the system and give a great example.
He says they have not had a real life scenario to fully test the system. He considers the new feature a great asset to EMS and could possibly be a life saver in the right circumstance.
