Adding hundreds of millions of dollars to school finance to please the Kansas Supreme Court may cost other programs. State representative Blaine Finch says the court has told the Legislature they need to add money to account for inflation… Which some studies say totals about 360 million dollars. The Governor has proposed adding 90 million dollars per year over 4 years to total 360 million. Finch says the scales are out of balance.
Finch was speaking at the First Friday Forum at Neosho County Community College.
