With the Marais  Des Cygnes  River rising because of recent rains, officials at Pomona Lake have decreased the discharge from the lake to 15 cubic feet per second as of 12:30 last Thursday, March 14th. The United States geological survey indicated that the water level on the Marais  Des Cygnes had increased above threshold to 9 point one nine feet. Threshold is nine feet. Park Ranger Erik Patterson says officials at the lake periodically increase the discharge from the lake, but the flow is reduced when area rains swell the river.
