Osawatomie Police Department responded to a one-vehicle accident yesterday afternoon, Thursday April 4th. According to police, a Dodge Challenger struck unit C of the Chestnut Manor Apartment complex. Two of the apartment units were damaged during the accident, which displaced two residents. Those residents are currently being assisted by apartment management and the local American Red Cross chapter. Two occupants in the vehicle were transported to Miami County Medical Center, where they were treated for minor injuries. Police says the cause of the accident remains under investigation at this time.
