The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office recently awarded two scholarships to a couple of graduating seniors. Sheriff Jeff Richards told the County Commission that the scholarships are one way to remember a fallen deputy.
Richards announced that the peace officers memorial service this year will be held in Topeka, Kansas.
