Travelers stopping in Ottawa is very important to the local economy. Franklin County is heavily impacted by those who visit. This week is National Tourism week in the United States and Franklin County will be participating with a variety of activities. According to Franklin County tourism Director Susan Rader, today is a big day at the Visitors Center.
Other events will be taking place, Thursday the Franklin County Conservation District will be presenting about Butterfly Gardens. Live music on the patio on Friday and power of the past baling demonstration on Saturday afternoon. Visitor and county residents are welcome at the Visitors Center anytime.
