The Santa Fe Trail Chargers team has the privilege of having the best freshman discus thrower in the entire nation. Bret Shwartz was Regional Champion with a throw over 175 feet, the best for a freshman in the nation and the second-best throw of any high schooler in the state this season.
Logan Reed won Regional Championship in the long jump and triple jump.
Mark Huddleston won Regional Championship in the 300 hurdles.
McKenzie Guyle took Regional Championship in the discus.
Carter Greenfield placed 1st in the javelin.
Draven Shallock placed 2nd in the 200M.
Evan Dean placed 2nd in the shot put.
Marrit Mead placed 2nd in the 200M and 100M.
Taylor Hedrick placed 2nd in the high jump.
Will Heren placed 2nd in discus.
Cameron Duncan placed 4th in the 100M.
Ryan Weekly placed 4th in the javelin.
