In case the flooding gets worse, Franklin County is now in a position to get help from outside sources. Emergency management Director Alan Radcliff says, “The situation is getting rather serious.” He asked the county commission for an emergency declaration.
The county approved the declaration, Radcliff says, “Some people still are not heeding warnings to not drive through water across the road. Depending on conditions, such a rash act could be fatal.”
