One of the hardest hit people in the massive flooding has to be farmers. Franklin County commissioner Roy Dunn says, “Farmers know how to deal with disasters.”
Dunn noted that a lot of corn has been planted but is now underwater, meaning most corn is already lost. Soybean planting is also delayed so it’s uncertain how seriously affected the soybean crop will be.
