When the Ottawa city commission condemns a house or other structure, it usually takes weeks or even months for the process to be completed. That was not the case this week. Ottawa fire Chief Tim Matthias says, “A garage in terrible shape needs to be taken down right now.”
The city commission voted to demolish the garage bids will be taken for the demolition so that it can be done as cheap as possible since tax dollars will pay for the demolition.
