The teen summer bash originally scheduled for today at the Goppert Teen Park of 15th street has become a victim of the recent heavy rains and has to be rescheduled. Community development Director Wendy Lee says, “It’s now a late summer bash.”
The teen summer bash will now be held on August 16th and out of concern for heat it will be held from 4p.m.- 9p.m. Lee adds, “There will be many more activities surrounding the event and they will be announced at a later date.”
