An accident on Friday sent two local youths to the hospital. Just after seven in the evening, 16-year-old Sean Stover of Pomona was driving his pickup on the 900 blocks of Labette road when somehow, he lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway. The truck struck a culvert. Stover and his passenger, an unidentified juvenile were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. According to posts on social media, Sean had successful surgery to reattach his left ear and was treated for a broken nose and other lacerations. No further information is available on his passenger.
