If you’re new to Wellsville and are hooking up to the water line for the first time, you’ll have to pay more. At the Wellsville city council meeting, councilman Chuck Rutledge made a motion to raise what is called the water impact fee and the tap fee.
The council approved the hike unanimously. The hike does not affect customers already hooked into water service.
