The 2nd annual lights on the lake event will kick off tonight with a patriotic parade through downtown Osawatomie. The winner of the coloring contest, 4-year-old Alex Eble will lead the parade as Junior Grand Marshal, joining citizen of the year, Danny Govea, the Grand Marshal of the parade. Danny has been an asset to the community for years.
Osawatomie city council member and fireworks extraordinaire Dan Maysec fills us in on today’s events.
