If Franklin County expects to get disaster payments from the federal government, they’re going to have document everything. Public Works Director David Lee says, “There’s a lesson from previous disasters.”
If things go as expected this time, the federal government might pay up to 75 percent of disaster costs. The county has had to file a second disaster declaration because of the renewed flooding.
