We all know how hard the county roads have been hit this spring and summer by rain and flooding. The damage that has been done is historical in proportion and county administrator Derek Brown says, “Repair is going to take a long time.”
Franklin County is included in a state disaster declaration and also a federal disaster declaration that has been signed by President Trump. Brown says, “We can’t wait on funds from the government, because that could take several years, the county just recently received a check from a disaster declaration in 2015.”
