CARBONDALE — A 19-year-old Carbondale woman was taken to a Topeka hospital early Sunday morning after a one-car crash in Osage County on U.S. 75 just north of Carbondale. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Emily Ashwill was driving south on U.S. 75 when she lost control of her car. Troopers said the car hit the guardrail and cut across all four lanes and hit another guard rail and bridge and then bounced back into the southbound lanes. She wasn’t wearing safety restraints.
