BALDWIN JUNCTION — A 29-year-old Lawrence woman received minor injuries when her car crashed into a semi-truck this morning on U.S. 59 a little more than a mile north of the Baldwin Junction. The Douglas County Sheriff’s office said Brandy Scott Douglas was going north on U.S. 59 when her car crossed the center-line and struck a semi-truck which was trying to evade her. The truck driver was identified as Mark Stevenson, 28, Topeka. He wasn’t injured. The crash disrupted both lanes of traffic. Deputies ticketed Douglas for failing to maintain a single lane of traffic.
