OTTAWA — The city will replace the light bulbs – about 450 of them.
City manager Richard Nienstedt said the city and library plan to spent nearly $15,000 to replace lights with more energy-efficient light fixtures and bulbs that will cut energy costs by 20 percent. Because the library is remodeling, the switchover is being done at an ideal time, he said.
