Sometimes to be successful in life, it depends on who you know. That may also be the case when it comes to Franklin County’s chances of getting federal disaster aid. Public Works Director David Lee says, “Perhaps a lesson has been learned from previous disasters.”
Lee says, “It only makes sense that Kansans would understand Franklin County’s situation better than a distant government official. He says, “Kansas officials will review the county’s application for disaster aid and notify him if they see anything that might weaken chances for getting some money.”
