USD 290 superintendent Doctor Ryan Cobbs will be the first to admit that the district has not done a very good job preparing teachers for the classroom. That is about to change. Recently, the USD 290 board approved a structural framework to help teachers provide a higher level of education for all students. Cobbs says, “It’s time to help them out.”
He adds that the hope is to see a big improvement in student achievement, across the board because of the new initiatives.
