LAWRENCE — The sister of basketball legend Wilt Chamberlain has donated his collection of letters, postcards and newspaper clippings to the Kenneth Spencer Research Library at Kansas University. Barbara Chamberlain-Lewis said the items were his special treasures. They belong at KU where he played college basketball, she said. Although the collection covers his basketball career, some items also highlight racially-charged incidents between opposing players and fans and Chamberlain.
