A little bit of good news bad news for drivers tomorrow. The bad news…traffic on the intersection of K-68 and main will have to rely on stop signs tomorrow instead of blinking red lights. The good news…work crews will begin repairs on the traffic signals tomorrow! During the repairs, the intersection will be controlled with stop signs as the signals will not be operational. Because of safety issues, and the use of the stop signs, the intersection will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Officials say the repair could take two days, but they are asking for patience and cooperation while they work as quickly as possible to get the signals back in working order. Flooding on August first destroyed the circuit box for the traffic lights. So, tomorrow and possibly Wednesday, everyone not only exercise caution at the intersection, but stay calm, cool and collected. Since it will be down to one lane, you may want to leave the house a few minutes early and ecpect short delays as traffic flows through the area.
